HEM’s CRT when combined with coating additives such as corrosion inhibitors, allows them to be released only as needed, throughout the desired treatment period, improving the coating’s overall performance and environmental compatibility.
Potential adopters of this technology are expected to be paint and coatings manufacturers; they specify the additives and purchase the customised CR additives from HEM for their usage. As customisation is required, this technology is classified as TRL7 and at the prototype level.
