Grease Trap & Drain Cleaners Blocks - OEM

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Grease Trap and Drain Cleaner Blocks are a solid, slow-release formula that contains a large number of safe, non-harmful, naturally occurring bacteria. These blocks are designed to continuously release effective levels of bacteria into grease traps, drain lines, or lift stations.

The bacteria in the blocks degrade organic waste, such as fats, oils, grease (FOG), and food scraps, into harmless by-products of carbon dioxide and water. This helps to eliminate blockages and prevent non-compliance with local waste disposal limits.

The bacteria also break down hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, which are the main causes of foul odors. This helps to prevent unpleasant smells from coming from grease traps and lift stations.

Advantages of Slow Release:

  • Extended release block for continuous treatment: This means that the grease trap or drain are continuously treated over the period of application.

  • Saves money by reducing the frequency of manual cleanouts: The bacteria in the blocks break down organic waste and grease, which helps to prevent blockages. This means that you don't need to have your grease trap or drain cleaned as often, which saves you money.

  • Preventing blockages: The bacteria in the blocks break down organic waste and grease, which helps to prevent blockages.

  • Lowering grease disposal costs: The bacteria in the blocks break down grease, which makes it faster and less frequent to dispose of.

  • Reduces malodors associated with organic waste and sludge: The bacteria in the blocks break down organic waste and sludge, which helps to reduce unpleasant odors. This makes your kitchen or restaurant more pleasant for customers and employees.

UNIQUE FEATURES OF HYDROEMISSION POLYMERIC BLOCKS

The current market for drain cleaning blocks is dominated by blocks that contain solid surfactants and bacteria embedded in them. These blocks have some technical limitations: the solid surfactants are not very efficient, they break down into chunks, and they do not completely degrade.

Hydroemission blocks are based on a proprietary polymeric controlled release technology that allows for the use of more efficient liquid surfactants and a more powerful mix of enzymes and bacteria. Hydroemission blocks are also completely biodegradable and designed to dissolve progressively over one month.

In addition to their technical advantages, Hydroemission blocks are able to encapsulate a higher load of bacteria, and they are lighter and cheaper to ship.

In simpler terms:

Hydroemission drain cleaning blocks are better than the current market leaders because:

  • They use more efficient liquid surfactants and a more powerful mix of enzymes and bacteria.

  • They are completely water soluble and biodegradable

  • They dissolve progressively over one month, so you don't have to replace them as often.

  • They can encapsulate a higher load of bacteria, so they are more effective.

  • They are lighter and cheaper to ship.

  • Environment Friendly

  • Effectively clears FOG deposits and cuts down the BOD/COD levels by at least 80%.

USAGE DIRECTIONS

To apply a grease trap block, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the lid from the grease trap

  2. Place the block in the grease trap, away from the highest flow areas and below any grease cap or scum layer.

  3. Replace the lid on the grease trap

That's it! The block will gradually dissolve as the wastewater flows over it, releasing beneficial bacteria into the grease trap. The bacteria will then begin digesting FOG and other organic waste, keeping your grease trap clean and free-flowing.

Here are some additional tips for applying a grease trap block:

  • Make sure to choose a block that is the right size for your grease trap. The block should be large enough to last for one month, but not so large that it blocks the flow of wastewater.

  • If your grease trap is very dirty, you may want to clean it before applying the block. This will help the bacteria to work more effectively.

  • Inspect the grease trap regularly to make sure that the block is dissolving properly and that the grease trap is staying clean.
